Accessibility statement
DHD wants as many people as possible to use the website independently. Technical and editorial development follows the principles of perceivable, operable, understandable and robust content and aims, where possible, for WCAG 2.2 level AA.
Measures already considered
- semantic headings, meaningful link text and a skip link to main content;
- keyboard operation for navigation, language choice, forms and cookie settings;
- visible focus states, suitable contrast and scalable text;
- responsive mobile layouts and right-to-left support for Dari;
- alternative text for editorial images and reduced motion when requested by the operating system.
Known limitations
